Listing photos often get reused without permission: by other websites, other agents, and sometimes by rental scams that repost your photos. A discreet watermark with your logo discourages reuse, signs your work and builds your brand on portals, social media and PDFs.
A good watermark is visible without hurting the photo: in a corner, at 15 to 20% of the image width and around 70% opacity, it protects without pulling attention from the home. Avoid big centered watermarks on listing photos: many MLSs and portals restrict branding on listing photos, and buyers find them distracting.

The watermark is merged into the image's pixels, so it can't be turned off. A crop that cuts out the logo's corner will remove it, though; for maximum protection, some professionals place the logo in the center at low opacity.
